About Canadian Premium Meats
Canadian Premium Meats Inc. (CPM) identified the need for a federally registered and European Union (EU) approved custom slaughter and processing plant in Western Canada. CPM has addressed that need with a plant in Lacombe, Alberta.
Many livestock producers recognize the opportunity existing in niche markets such as: organic, natural and hormone-free beef; bison; elk; and venison. Several producer groups have already formed production and marketing alliances to form a strong voice with wholesalers and retailers. However, all three links - production, processing and marketing - of the chain need to coordinate to make all of them successful.
CPM concentrates solely on custom processing livestock and is NOT involved in the processing and marketing of their own branded meat products. No conflict of interest exists with their clients as CPM strives to provide the best possible service with:
